Youth Villa Classic
Memorial Day weekend’s Youth Villa Classic, benefiting the Florida Sheriffs Youth Villa, will again feature Central Florida’s finest golfers in a 54-hole shoot-out. Notable pros including Lee Jansen, Bob Murphy, Andy Bean and U.S. Amateur Champion Fred Ridley have competed in this tournament.
The Classic is restricted to 180 participants competing in six divisions. Out of the possible 200 entries, the remaining 20 slots are reserved for boys ages 16-19 to play in the Youth Division of the Classic. Call the Bartow Golf Course at 533-9183 for entry information.
The Youth Villa Classic, presented by the Greater Bartow Chamber of Commerce, has raised over $545,000 for the Florida Sheriffs Youth Villa. Saturday Night Entertainment
Features “The Contours!”
This year’s Saturday night entertainment on May 28 for the Dinner and Dance features The Contours, a high energy Motown Show. The group will perform their big hit, “Do You Love Me,” and many others. Doors open at 7pm.
